Luanda – Angolan Executive reiterated the need to maintain the contributions to fines, revenues and expenses as part of the remuneration of civil servants.
The move is intended to avoid corruption among public officials, according to Secretary of State for Public Administration, Vanio Americano.
The official clarified the issues during the discussion held in specialty in the parliament focused on the proposal for a fundamental law on the public service, that will go to global voting on July 21.
Vânio Americano said that by expanding the system of remuneration of public officials, the Executive intends to safeguard the rights and guarantees of citizens.
He pointed out that the remuneration in the Public Service is composed, among others, of a basic salary, supplements and social benefits, which are constituted with the acceptance of the appointment or with the conclusion of the public employment contract.
