Chitembo – The body of an 85-year-old woman was found without her head on the outskirts of the village of Ndala, in the municipality of Chitembo, province of Bié.
In addition to the Head, other parts of the feet were also severed.
Speaking to ANGOP on Wednesday, the spokesperson for the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) in Bié, Simão Lucas Londaca, said that the body was found, after alerting the villagers.
According to Simão Lucas Londaca, family members reported that the elderly woman had been missing for a few days.
The official said that efforts are underway to arrest the alleged perpetrators and determine the causes that motivated him to commit the act.
In 2023, in the commune of Cunje, municipality of Cuíto, a headless body of a motorcycle taxi driver was also found.
