Expanding its reach

The Angola Press Agency, briefly known as ANGOP, is a public news company in the country and aims to collect, process and distribute, on an exclusive basis, both in Angola and abroad, news based on objective information on national news and international. ANGOP was created in July 1975, under the name of Agência Nacional Angola Press (ANAP). In 1991, ANGOP opted for the issue of its work 24 hours a day, and also introduced innovations in editorial and technical plans.
