Luanda – The academic and scientific work entitled "Hospital psychology and public health", written by university lecturer Ludi da Costa, is to be presented on the 29th of the current month, in Luanda Province.
The 200-page book, composed of 14 chapters and with 1,000 books available, was published by Nacional Press.
Speaking to ANGOP on Wednesday, Ludi da Costa said that it will contribute to the development of science, improve hospital care as well as the understanding of public health.
The author added that the book addresses humanization and communication in public health and the result of events experienced in the community.
To him, “Hospital psychology and public health” will serve as a research manual for Angolans.
Ludi da Costa, who is also a health consultant and researcher, has already published two books, namely “Hospital and hospitalization from the perspective of hospital psychology” in 2020 and “Burnout syndrome” in 2022.
Born in Luanda, on December 25, 1979, he has a degree in Psychology, Financial Management and Database Management. He also has a master's degree in Psychology and Counseling from the International University of Management (IUM) and a PHD in Psychology, Health and Training from the American World University (AWU).
