Luanda – The journalist of the state-owned National Radio of Angola (RNA), Silva Júnior died this Thursday, victim of an illness, at the age of 64, ANGOP learnt
João Augusto da Silva Júnior joined the RNA in 1979 as a trainee repórter.
While in RNA he occupied various positions, such as newsroom chief.
In 2004, "Mukongo" a nickname he was also known by, was appointed director of RNA’s online tramsmission, and between 2012and 2018 he was appointed an advisor to the board of the RNA.
In 2019 João Augusto da Silva Júnior went to retirement.
