Luanda - The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, on Friday appointed Luciano Tânio Jorge da Silva as director-general of the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) and José Coimbra Baptista Júnior as director-general of the Migration and Foreigners Service (SME).
In other decrees, the Angolan Head of State, under the terms of the Constitution of the Republic of Angola and after hearing the National Security Council, dismissed the Migration Commissioner João António da Costa Dias from the position of Director-General of the Migration and Foreigners Service and José Coimbra Baptista Júnior from the position of Deputy Head of the State Information and Security Service.
Also dismissed were the chief commissioner of Criminal Investigation António Paulo Bendje from the position of director-general of the Criminal Investigation Service, the commissioner of Criminal Investigation Fernando Manuel Bambi Receado, as deputy director-general of the Criminal Investigation Service, and Luciano Tânio Jorge Custódio Mateus da Silva, until then director of the Special Security Corps for Strategic Minerals.
