Mbanza Kongo - Zaire's deputy governor for Political, Social and Economic sector, Afonso Nzolameso, on Monday in Mbanza Kongo, recommended urged school managers to combat sexual harassment and vandalism of public property in the region's educational institutions.
Speaking at the swearing in of new managers in the education sector, the official said sexual harassment in schools and the vandalizing of public property are two phenomena that are damaging the education sector in this part of the country, and asked the new managers to work hard to reverse the current picture.
Afonso Nzolameso said he hopes that the newly appointed officials fulfill their duties with responsibility, commitment, dedication and patriotism above all, in order to achieve the goals set by the Angolan executive in the education sector. JL /TED/AMP
