Lobito - Seven years later, Benguela province will once again host an edition of the Angola Cities and Towns Fair 2025, to be held from August 7 to 10, ANGOP has learned.
This is the second time that Benguela will host the event, which is already in its fifth edition, and will serve to reaffirm the Angolan government's determination to stimulate domestic and foreign private investment.
According to a note from the Ministry of Territorial Administration, the event will give sustainability to municipalities and highlight the new dynamics of local governance.
During the fair, experiences will be shared on citizen participation in local development processes, the resilience of municipal administrations, among other aspects aimed at finding answers to the problems of the population.
It also aims to discuss strategies to generate income from the value chain of different products and to boost industry and rural trade.
In this edition, the result of the new political and administrative division, 326 of the country's municipalities will be present, compared to the previous 164. TC/CRB/AMP
