Uige - At least 20 agricultural cooperatives in the municipality of Songo, Uige Province, have received agricultural tools in the last few days to boost production in the district.

The agricultural tools include motor pumps, sprayers, machetes, axes and rakes, among others.

The handover of the equipment was presided over by the Deputy Municipal Administrator for the Economic and Financial Area of the Municipality of Songo, Floberto David, who said that the delivery of these means was part of the local government's program to promote agricultural production to combat hunger among families.

He also highlighted the commitment and contribution of families to agricultural production to promote development in this locality.NM/JAR
