Luanda – The Angolan international football player Herenilson do Carmo has signed a one-year contract with Al Ahly Tripoli, a football club in the First League of Libya, ANGOP learned Tuesday in Luanda.
The midfielder, who was playing for the National Team at 2023 CHAN, which takes place in Algeria, showed up at the new club on Monday (23), at a time when his contract with 1.º de Agosto is coming to an end.
In his position, Herenilson will be competed by John Okoye Ebuka (Nigeria), Haythem Ayouni (Tunisia), Mohsine Moutouali (Morocco), Ibrahima Tandia (France) and Mohammed Al Tarhouni (Libya).
He is the third Angolan player to transfer to that Arab country in the last three years.
Herenilson, 26, is graduated from Norberto de Castro School.
