Cabinda – The first passenger flight departing from the newly unveiled Agostinho Neto International Airport (AIAAN) successfully landed, this Sunday morning, in the northern Cabinda Province’s Maria Mambo Café Airport.
Carrying 92 passengers from Luanda, this flight serves to kickstart domestic passenger flights service at the AIAAN, after roughly one year of cargo flights only.
ANGOP has learnt that the same flight is to return to Luanda this morning with 77 passengers.
Meanwhile, on arrival in Cabinda, the crew were welcomed by the provincial authorities, with highlight on governor Suzana de Abreu.
