Luanda - The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, Friday (8) appointed Arnaldo Manuel Carlos and Cristino Mário Ndeitunga to the posts of Secretaries of State for the Interior and for Technical Assurance, respectively.
According to a note from the Presidential Support Services to which ANGOP had access, the Head of State promoted Chief Commissioner Francisco Monteiro Ribas da Silva to the police rank of Commissioner General.
In another decree, the President of the Republic appointed commissioner-general Francisco Monteiro Ribas da Silva to the post of Commander-General of the National Police.
The President of the Republic dismissed Commissioner-General Arnaldo Manuel Carlos from the post of commander-general of the National Police.
President João Lourenço dismissed Chief Commissioner Francisco Monteiro Ribas da Silva from the post of delegate of the Ministry of the Interior and Luanda provincial commander of the Angolan National Police.
He also dismissed Cristino Mário Ndeitunga from the post of deputy governor of Luanda province for Technical Services and Infrastructure.
