Luanda – The Vice President of the Republic, Esperança da Costa, left this Saturday for the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, to participate in the 29th High Level Conference on Climate Change (COP29), set to happen from 11 to 22 November.
The gathering, which she will attend on behaf of President João Lourenço, it is expected the presence of several world leaders and environmentalists.
With COP29 it is intended the analysis of aspects relating to climate changes, so that governments can fulfil their commitments of facing and fighting such phenomena.
The event represents an opportunity to accelerate actions against the climate crisis and promote concrete solutions in face of the current environmental problems.
