Huambo – The administration of Chinjenje municipality, in central Huambo province invested a total of 8 million Kwanzas to improve 14 kilometres of secondary and tertiary roads, ANGOP has learnt.
The work, an initiative of the Chinjenje Municipal Administration, as part of the program to combat poverty, covers, among other places, the villages of Kaparacassa, Sacato and Sangueve, with the aim of facilitating the flow of agricultural products.
The local administrator, Pedro Isaac, said the Huambo provincial government is committed to working to provide basic social services to the population to improve their living conditions.
He asked the contractor to carry out the earthworks quickly to enable the movement of people and goods.
Chinjenje, one of 11 municipalities of Huambo province, has an estimated population of 42,658 inhabitants, who are distributed in two communes, namely Chiaka and Sede.
