Luanda - Angola on Tuesday reported 3,090 new cases, three deaths and the recovery of 20 patients in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, 2,104 were diagnosed in Luanda, 550 in Huambo, 106 in Huila, 104 in Cabinda, 72 in Malanje, 51 in Moxico, 43 in Bié, 40 in Benguela, 6 in Cuanza Sul, 6 in Lunda Sul, 4 in Lunda Norte, 3 in Cuando Cubango and 1 in Bengo.
Aged between 1 and 98, the list includes 1,863 male patients and 1,227 female patients.
In the last 24 hours, the laboratories processed 9,204 tests, with a daily positivity rate of 33.6 percent.
The deaths, according to the daily bulletin, were registered in the provinces of Benguela, Malanje and Luanda, with one each, respectively.
Among those recovered, 19 reside in Luanda and one in Cunene.
Angola has 76,787 confirmed cases, 64,046 of which recovered, 1,757 deaths and 10,985 active. Of the active cases, 9 are critical, 18 serious, 61 moderate, 99 light and 10 798 asymptomatic.
In the hospitalization centres are 187 patients, while 195 citizens are serving institutional quarantine and 803 contacts of positive cases are under medical surveillance.
