Paris – The Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, will participate on Friday, Jan 17, in the Angola-France Business Forum, on the 2nd and final day of his State visit to France, which began on Thursday morning.

The event will bring together around 120 Angolan and French companies, to assess business opportunities and partnerships between the two countries' economic operators.

According to the Angolan Private Investment and Export Promotion Agency (AIPEX) chairperson, Arlindo das Chagas Rangel, businesspeople from various sectors will attend, with emphasis on banking, agro-industry, agriculture, solid waste management and water treatment and technologies.

"Many of the French companies already operate in Angola and are aware of the country's business and investment environment and we count on them to be our ambassadors to other interested parties", he stated.

The France-Angola Economic Forum was organized as part of President João Lourenço's state visit, at the invitation of his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.
