Luanda - The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights (MINJUDH), in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), holds this Thursday (Dec 3), in Luanda, the third National Forum on Human Rights with Civil Society Organizations.
The forum aims to promote the implementation of the Strategy and the National Human Rights Prize, to consolidate permanent dialogue and partnership between the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights and civil society organizations working on human rights.
Following up on the recommendations of the first and second National Human Rights Forum as well as the several international treaties ratified by the Angolan State are also on the agenda.
The event will count on the participation of civil society organizations working in the field of Human Rights, academics and members of the Inter-Sector Commission for the readiness of National Human Rights Reports.
The National Human Rights Strategy foresees the involvement of civil society in improving the performance of public institutions and the conquest of civil society's confidence in actions for the defence and promotion of Human Rights.
