Luanda - Angolan ambassador Daniel António Rosa Tuesday in Manila, Philippines, discussed with the President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos issues linked to cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, held on the sidelines of his first official visit to the Philippines, the diplomat, who is also Angolan representative in Singapore, discussed with local Statesman the strengthening of friendship and cooperation ties between the two countries.
At the meeting, held at the Presidential Palace of Malacañang, ahead of the Philippine Independence Day, the Angolan diplomat briefed the President some aspects related to Angola.
Daniel Rosa was also received by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Enrique A. Manalo, with whom he analysed the cooperation in the several areas of common interest.
The meeting focused on ongoing political and economic reforms in Angola, since the President João Lourenço came into office in 2017.
In turn, the Philippine top diplomat welcomed the ongoing reforms in Angola and expressed his Government's full availability to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation with the Angolan State in various sectors. VMCF/NIC
