Luanda - The price of the 13-oil basket of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) set Tuesday at 122.94 US dollars per barrel, according to calculations from the organization’s secretariat.
In comparison with the previous day, Monday, May 30, there was an increase of 2.93 US dollars, according to data accessed by ANGOP from OPEC's website.
OPEC's reference oil basket is made up of Saharan Blend (Algeria), Sunflower (Angola), Djeno (Congo), Zafiro (Equatorial Guinea), Rabi Light (Gabon), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait).
Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela) are also part of the OPEC basket.
Angola's production quota established in light of the 400,000 barrels of oil per day (bpd) increase agreed between OPEC and allies is 1.3 million bpd, a volume that has yet to be met.
Average daily production remains at 1.1 million barrels per day, the increase of which will depend on planned investments.
Oil also accounts for 95% of total national exports, more than 35% of GDP and about 60% of the government's public spending.
