Luanda – At least one hundred and six projects have received disbursements of over 4.4 billion kwanzas from the Credit Support Programme (PAC), the Secretary of State for the Economy, Dalva Ringote, announced Tuesday, speaking at the usual briefing of the Ministry for the Economy and Planning (MEP).
The Credit Support Programme (PAC) is a public financing instrument, included in the Programme to Support Production, Export Diversification and Import Substitution (Prodesi).
According to the secretary of State, who was speaking at the usual briefing of the Ministry of Economy and Planning (MEP), from April to date there have been 553 approved projects, 107 more than last week.
Dalva Ringote said that the approved projects were spread across the provinces of Luanda, with 161, Benguela (48), Uíge (46), Bié (37), Huíla (37), Cunene (29), Bengo (28), Huambo (26), Kwanza Norte (21), Kwanza Sul (18), Lunda Norte (17), Zaire (17), Namibe (16), Malanje (15), Cuando Cubango (14), Lunda Sul (9), Moxico (8) and Cabinda (6).
She noted that Luanda province topped the list of projects funded, with 50, totalling kz 2,090,792,609.74.
This is followed by Bengo, with 12 projects, equivalent to Kz 445. 2 million and Huíla with 9 projects, for an amount of Kz 304. 9 million.
