Luanda - Athlete Nilton José just won, in Luanda, the 1st Edition of the “Luanda Mudclecontest”, in bodybuilding, in the Men’s Bodybuilding Overall category, held at the Belas Conference Center, in Futungo. Nilton is also champion in the Men’s Bodybuilding Novice category.
With around 30 participants, the event, which was attended by more than five hundred spectators, also valued social inclusion through wheelchair user athlete.
In this last category, Pedro Adão became champion in Men’s Bodybuilding - Special in Wheelchairs.
In Men’s Bodybuilding, in the junior sector, the first position went to the adapted athlete, Milton Rosa.
In the Woman’s Bikini Novice category, Yangelis Charleston took first place,
In Woman’s Bikini Master the 35 years Lilian Gomes won the trophy, which also convinced the judges in Overall’s specialty.
In Woman’s Bikini Open Class B, Marisa Gonçalves was the winner.
In Woman’s Wellness - Open Class B, Yara Neto won.
After this event, which only included the participation of national athletes, the organization promotes on August 31st, in the same venue, an international event.
Carrying out these activities, according to the promoter, Tamer Guindy, will open doors for Angolan athletes.
The idea is to help make the national scene more attractive, so that businesspeople invest and foreign athletes come to compete in Angola.
”Mudclecontest” is an institution dedicated to promoting world-class bodybuilding events.
The unprecedented event in Angola was organized by an independent body from the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB).
