Luanda - The senior men's national basketball team are conducting a pre-competition preparation games in central Benguela province on 1 - 15 February ahead of the fifth and final window of group (C) for the World Basketball Cup in Asia.
The national team, coached by Spanish Pep Cláros, return to Benguela province a year after their debut in the first window, held at the Acácias Rubras pavilion in November 2021.
The field work will start on 1 February, while the integration of the players playing outside the country will only happen on the 15th of the same month.
The call will be announced Wednesday at a press conference.
The last qualifying window is scheduled to take place at Multipurpose pavilion in Luanda, from 24 to 26 February.
The Angola need two wins to ensure qualification for World Cup that will take place in the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia, from 25 August to 10 September.
Angola come second in (group C) with 12 points, two less than leader Côte d'Ivoire.
