Quibala - The 10th edition of the Agricultural Products Fair of Cuanza-Sul Province, held on 27 February in Quibala, reached a turnover of 138 million kwanzas, ANGOP learned on Saturday.

The event, promoted by the Cuanza-Sul provincial government, was attended by 320 exhibitors representing 12 of the 24 municipalities of the region, where they displayed agricultural products such as cereals, vegetables, legumes, tubers and other products.

 At the end of the fair, the event's coordinator, Honorato Kondjassili, said it was a demonstration of economic dynamism aimed at boosting the local economy.

  Honorato Kondjassili encouraged producers to take on commitments with the same dynamism, as the government continues to work with banking institutions to provide financing for agricultural activities and to improve secondary and tertiary roads to facilitate the flow of rural products.

 For producer Domingos Pedro, the fair is a showcase where farmers, associations, cooperatives and agricultural entrepreneurs can exhibit, sell and exchange experiences.
