Talatona - The Secretary of State for Tourism, Augusto Kalikemala, on Wednesday explained how this sector works to put Angola on the path of tourism development in Africa, attracting investments aimed at developing national tourism.
The official, who was speaking at the International Conference on the Travel Market, stressed that it is intended that, in the next edition, the presence of Angolan investors in the tourism area will be stronger, so that the presentation of Angolan products and potential are clearly evident.
He added that the bet will allow greater distribution of national products by African countries and other continents that also participate in the fair.
The fair has tour operators and distributors from 99 countries around the world and aims to boost the tourism market.
'The intention is for tourism operators to get to know Angola and bring tourists to our country', he said.
In turn, the Angolan consul in Cape Town, Elsa Caposso Vicente, said that the event was attended by tourists and investors from South Africa and other countries interested in investing in Angola. VS/MAG/DOJ
