Luanda – Angolan president João Lourenço received a message on Friday in Luanda from his Namibian counterpart, Nangolo Mbumba, the content of which was not revealed.
The letter was delivered during an audience with Frans Kapof, the Namibian Minister of Defence and War Veterans, the President's special envoy.
Speaking to the journalists, Frans Kapof said the Namibian president is due to pay a working visit to Angola very soon.
The special envoy said he took the opportunity to thank the Angolan Head of State for the expressions of solidarity with the Namibian people and government over the death of then President Hage Geingob.
He also said it has been a difficult time for the Namibian people, "but life goes on, adding that the main difficulty in Namibia today is the lack of rain. JFS/VIC/ADR/DAN/AMP
