Luanda - Justino Capapinha was elected on Saturday morning in Luanda, national secretary of the JMPLA - the Youth Wing of the ruling party in Angola - with 1,100 votes in favor, and replaces Crispiniano dos Santos.
Justino Capapinha, 29 years old, is a native of Luanda and graduated in Law. He will lead the JMPLA for the next five years.
Under the motto 'JMPLA - For the Homeland at the Service of Youth', the Congress discussed and approved the amendment of the organization's statutes, the adjustments to the Programmatic Plan (2024/2029) and the theses focused on patriotism, pride, love and devotion to the homeland,
The congressmen also aligned the JMPLA with the political, social and economic transformations underway in Angola.
The JMPLA was founded on November 23, 1962, in Leopoldville (now Kinshasa), in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in the context of the first war of national liberation. MGM/ART/DOJ
