Luanda - Angola's ambassador to Indonesia Florêncio de Almeida on Wednesday in Luanda stressed the importance of increasing cooperative relations between the two countries, in the most varied aspects and areas of business life.
Florêncio de Almeida made the statement during a courtesy meeting with the President of the Angolan-Indonesian Multilateral Chamber of Commerce and Investment, Mateus de Brito, which served to assess the current state of bilateral relations and outline specific strategies for increasing and improving them.
"We need to create production chains that valorize national resources, as well as attract investments that strengthen national production, especially in the fisheries, agriculture, trade, oil and mineral resources, tourism and other sectors” the diplomat said.
Mateus de Brito, chairperson of Angola-Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Investment on his turn considered the moment to be one of action, emphasizing the need to identify business opportunities and bring potential Indonesian investors to the country.
Diplomat Florêncio de Almeida is Angola's first ambassador to this Asian country since 2023, with the opening of the Diplomatic Representation it is expected that relations between the two countries improve, with a view to the set of objectives of mutual interest that have already been identified.
