Uige - The eight victims of the road accident that took place on the EN 160, on the road linking the commune of Macocola (Milunga) to the municipal seat of Quimbele, northern Uige province, were buried on Wednesday in the local cemetery.
Presided over by the local municipal administrator, Afonso Manuel, the ceremony was attended by members of the municipal administration and relatives of the victims.
The accident happened on Saturday night, when a bus carrying full of passengers from Luanda fell into a large ravine in Kimalalo, 20 kilometers from the municipal seat of Quimbele resulting in the death of eight passengers and 27 injured.
Of the total number of injured, 11 who were in a serious condition were admitted to the General Hospital of Uíge and are currently in a stable condition.NM/JAR/TED/AMP
