Luanda - Angola's participation in "Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai", being held in Japan since April 12, symbolizes the Angolan government's commitment to contribute to a more balanced and healthy global society, putting health education at the top of collective action.

The statement is expressed in a message from the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, presented by the Angolan delegation participating in Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai, whose opening ceremony was attended by 98,000 visitors, according to a press release obtained by ANGOP.   

At the event, Angola is placing health education at the center of collective action, promoting an aware and resilient citizenry, as well as asserting itself as an agent of change, looking to the future with responsibility and ambition, according to the document.

The country's participation is also a unique opportunity for Angola to demonstrate its economic and cultural potential to the world, in a context of attracting investment, strengthening multilateral partnerships and valuing its vast human heritage.

Confirming its place on the stage of nations committed to progress, Angola participates in the event with a strong identity and humanist vocation, guided by the sub-theme "Saving Lives" and the slogan "Educating for Health".

Angola's participation promises to be a highlight of the Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai site, inviting visitors to discover a country of contrasts and riches, where the past and the future dialogue in harmony. The pavilion will also feature cultural exhibitions, interactive experiences, thematic forums, shows and moments of sharing that reflect the diversity and vitality of Angolan society.

With the sub-theme "Saving Lives", the Angolan delegation to the event will be coordinated by the General Commissioner of Expo Osaka-Kansai 2025, Albina Assis Africano, whose long experience and vision have earned the country a prominent position at the BIE (International Bureau of Exhibitions).

Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai is one of the most important international events dedicated to debating the future of humanity.
