Luanda – Angolan President João Lourenço is travelling Sunday to the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he will participate, from Monday, in the summit of the Group of 20 most industrialized nations in the world (G20).
Angola will be at this high-level meeting of the G20 as a guest country.
The Angolan Head of State will participate, until Tuesday, in the different sessions of the summit, where he is expected to intervene in at least two of them.
A global alliance against hunger and poverty is expected to be established at this summit, in addition to the event debating the energy transition.
President João Lourenço will also fulfill a parallel diplomatic agenda that includes a meeting with the President of the host country of the G20 summit, Luiz Inácio 'Lula' da Silva and audiences with businessmen, politicians, diplomats, among others.
The return to Luanda of the President of the Republic is scheduled for Wednesday, the 20th. ART/DOJ
