Luanda - The Angolan writer Trajanno Nankhova Trajanno died Thursday in one of Luanda's hospitals, aged 65, ANGOP learnt on Friday.
The information was confirmed by writer Amélia Cazalma, wife of the deceased, adding that Trajanno Nankhova had a relapse on Monday and was taken to one of the Luanda hospitals, where he died.
Trajanno Nankhova Trajanno, the literary pseudonym of Jordão Augusto Trajanno, was born in Luanda on December 12, 1958.
He published several books, including “A Morte do Pão” (1993), “Fronteira da Lágrima” (1995), “De que Lado Está Deus” (Honorable Mention for the Sagrada Esperança Prize), “Terra Nova” (2000), “Pedestal de Argila” (2001), “Melodia da Água” (MPLA Dr. Agostinho Neto Competition Prize, 2003) and “Caminhos da Mente” (2004)”.
He was a member of the Chamber of Therapists and Professionals of Traditional Natural Medicine in Angola, vice-president of the NGO SEAKA and of the social project Casa de Caminho André Luís.
Trajanno Nankhova Trajanno, who leaves behind six children, was also the author of several scientific research projects presented at the International Inventors' Fair in Nuremberg (Germany) from 2019 to 2024.MEL/MCN/AMP
