Luanda - Senior officials from Angola and Namibia have been meeting in Luanda since Thursday to prepare the first session of the Bi-National Commission between the two countries to be held soon.
Political-diplomatic, defense and security, human rights, migration, economic-business and legal issues are all on the table.
Opening the talks, the Secretary of State for International Cooperation and Angolan Communities, Domingos Custódio Vieira Lopes, considered the meeting to be an opportunity for the parties to lay the foundations for solidifying the bonds of friendship, fraternity and solidarity that exist between the peoples.
The Angolan official said he was convinced that, within the four committees created, there will be an opportunity to fulfill the arduous mission of preparing the historic inaugural session of the Angola-Namibia Bi-National Commission.
The work of the senior officials will take place over three days.
Working groups have been set up to prepare the 1st Bi-National Session, namely: diplomatic and judicial; economic and infrastructure; social and cultural; and defence and security. ART/TED/AMP
