Ramiro - John Bella will participate with his most recent work in the Havana Book Fair, Cuba, to take place in that Caribbean country as from Tuesday, the writer has told ANGOP.
The writer - who disclosed the information during the presentation of his new literary work entitled "Os Passos Decisivos da Rainha Njinga" (The Decisive Steps of Queen Njinga) - said the invitation represents an opportunity to internationalize the national literature and establish interchange with other authors, in an event of international character.
John Bella pointed out that he will take five hundred copies to the event.
The Cuban cultural attaché in Angola, Raul Hernández, on his turn, said John Bella's participation in the event illustrates the good and long-standing relations between the two peoples.
The first Cuban ambassador to Angola and writer, Oscar Oramas Olíva, acknowledged the growth of Angolan literature and highlighted relations in the cultural field.
The work, with more than 500 pages, portrays fierce battles, agreements, strategies of war and peace, the wisdom and intelligence of the sovereign of the former kingdoms of Ndongo and Matamba.
