Luanda - General Budget 2022 has set aside 450 billion kwanzas for the payment of commercial debt contracted by the Republic of Angola in 2013-2018 period, Angola’s Finance minister Vera Daves has announced.
The minister said Wednesday in Luanda that the debt will be paid by the ministerial department through evidence certified by the General Inspection of State Administration (IGAE), which validates and certifies these matters.
Speaking to Angola’s National Radio station (RNA), the official reiterated that all debt formed outside the rules of the budget execution will not be regularized, based on the Presidential Decree on the procedures for the regularisation of the arrears.
"We have already started with the process of sending the records we have to the IGAE. We have made a computer development that allows the sending of these processes in a digital way, through the State Financial System," the minister said.
