Ndalatando - The State Minister for Economic Coordination, Manuel Nunes Júnior, announced Saturday in Ndalatando, Cuanza Norte province, that the Angolan Development Bank (BDA) will increase its geographical coverage in the country this year, through the creation of five regional offices.
These regional offices of the BDA, operating in the capitals of the provinces of Uíge, Benguela, Huambo, Huíla and Lunda Sul, he said, would ensure greater proximity to investors and speed up the process of financing projects.
Nunes Júnior, who was giving this information at the national forum for the official launch of new financial products from the BDA, noted that, with the expansion of the banking activities, the government aimed to reduce bureaucracy and provide a quick response to the funding needs of investors, who are the state's partners in carrying out policies to diversify the economy and promote development.
In relation to the new financial products of the BDA, he said that the bank will give priority to the agriculture sector, with the creation of credit packages for agricultural campaign, acquisition of machinery, creation of support infrastructures and execution of agricultural investment projects.
