Luanda - Filmmakers Henrique Sungo and Filipe Anjos, for three days participated in London, United Kingdom in the 4th edition of the London Art House Film Festival (LAHFF) with a short documentary.
The documentary is entitled “Um Jornada do Amor próprio” (Lit."A journey of self-love").
According to a note from the participants, accessed by ANGOP on Wednesday in Luanda Province, following the festival the best in several categories will be awarded Thursday.
The founders of the production company Santano Produções competed in two categories namely a short film documentary and best female empowerment photography with photos about the contribution of the street vendors (zungueiras) to the informal economy and Angolan families.
The festival held under the motto “Environmental Consciousness, and Women Empowerment” is a special celebration of Morocco's Hassani Culture, which left the organizing committee very expectant and emotional due to the number of quality and competitive films.
Henrique Sungo also received the merit award at the “Viana Cine fest” in Luanda, on October 3rd.
