Luanda – Angola national football team drew goalless with Namibia on Friday in the 1st round of (Group C) of the 2024 Cosafa Cup, played at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, in South Africa.
With this result, Angola was unable to confirm its favoritism against the Namibians, who knew how to counter their opponent that wasted a lot of chances from start to finish.
The two teams have one point each. Angolan player Vidinho was considered the MVP of the game.
Angola face Seychelles Islands on July 1for the second round and Lesotho in the 3rd and final round of the group stage.

Zambia, Comoros Islands, Zimbabwe and Kenya are in (Group B).
Angola, Namibia, Seychelles and Lesotho (Group C)
Angola has already won three titles in this African competition, namely in 1999, 2001 and 2004, while Namibia won it once in 2015.
In the 2023 edition, held in South Africa, Angola reached the group stage, occupying second place, with four points.
