Cuito – At least three people died and 12 injured as a result of a car collision on Cuito to Chinguar road on the National Road-250, in Bié province, the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) Simão Lucas Londaca said Thursday.
Speaking to ANGOP, the accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, when a Toyota Hilux vehicle, trying to overtake a motorcycle, hit another Land Cruiser vehicle coming in the opposite direction.
According to the source, the collision caused human casualties and huge material damage.
The SIC spokesman said the victims included the drivers, adding that speeding and lack of caution were among the causes.
