Viana - Three Angolan movies with emphasis on 'Kunanga at 30' by filmmaker Marcus Ndombele will be screened outdoors on Friday in Viana (Luanda).
The screening takes place within the framework of a movie session called 'CineFest', which opened last Tuesday and runs until Sunday.
Also, for Friday, films by the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries CPLP are scheduled, one of which is 'Diving', directed by Marton Olympio.
The event is a free festival that is already in its fourth edition. It stands out in the promotion of Angolan and international cinema in partnership with the production company Sed Filmes, to stimulate and promote art in the municipality of Viana
The head of the Viana Culture Section, Filipe Lumbo, informed ANGOP that twenty (20) short films have been screened to date, out of a total of 40 scheduled.
He said that the exhibition, which takes place in front of the garden of the Municipal Administration of Viana, has served as entertainment for several citizens.
By the way, the people of Viana are satisfied with the initiative of the local Culture Section.
Paulo Mistício, 35 years old, lives on the outskirts of the main village and considers it to be a different time to enjoy the night with friends participating in CineFest.
Likewise, Francisco Elavoco, 40 years old, stressed that the Cine Fest has served as leisure, so he asks for its extension at the level of the neighborhoods.
The first edition of CineFest took place in 2021.AA/HDC/SEC/DOJ
