Mbanza-Kongo – A 28-year-old young man died buried in a water well approximately 22 meters deep, in the commune of Luvo, municipality of Mbanza Kongo, province of Zaire.
The incident happened around 4 pm on Wednesday in the village of Luvuvamu, according to a report from the National Police sent this Thursday to ANGOP, in Mabnza Kongo.
According to the note, the young man died after the earth collapsed, while he was excavating a well to extract drinking water.
It is important to note that, last June, two children under five years of age drowned in a water well in a northern commune of Luvo, which is 60 kilometers north of the city of Mbanza Kongo. JL/CF/DOJ
