Harare - The Angolan Head of State João Lourenço on Sunday visited the construction site of the Museum of African Liberation (MLA) in Harare, a project led by the Zimbabwean Government.
It is the construction of a pan-African infrastructure in the Zimbabwean capital, intended to exhibit and preserve the diverse history of African liberation.
President João Lourenço's visit to the project is part of the program of the 44th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), held Saturday in Harare.
In its final communiqué, the meeting of regional leaders welcomes the initiative of the Zimbabwean Government and urges the other SADC member states to make available materials and artifacts for the Museum of African Liberation. IZ/ART/DOJ
