Luanda - The Chair of the Order of Accountants and Experts of Angola (OCPCA), Cristina Silvestre, said on Tuesday, in Luanda, that the institution will clear, in the near future, the tax debt with the General Administration (AGT).
Cristina Silvestre was speaking during a meeting of the Order, intended to present the 120-day mandate report, referring to the existence, since the previous management, of notifications due to non-compliance with the Income Tax map, Company Tax models and Value Added Tax (VAT).
For the change of paradigm, she informed that the current management (2024-2026) fulfilled the obligations of the month of September, missing outstanding issues from previous periods, which she did not go into details.
On the other hand, the Chairperson announced, for Dec 16th, the holding of the national exam for members of the order, as well as announcing the collection of Akz 164.9 million (roughly US$ 180.492), in the period from Jun to Nov this year.
The governing body of the Order of Accountants and Accounting Experts of Angola is made up of 50 members and officially began its functions on June 24th of the current year.
