Luanda - The return of striker Mbala Nzola is the highlight of the Angola senior men’s football team ahead of the match against Ghana on November 15, for the 5th round of Group F of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying to be held in Morocco.

According to the Angolan coach Pedro Gonçalves, the player, who represents French Premier League Lens, is once again available to represent Angola.

The 28-year-old, who was born in Buco-Zau, Cabinda province, has been repeatedly called up, but has never actually joined the squad.

For example, during Angola's participation in the Africa Cup of Nations in January/February of this year, he was unavailable after confirming to the coach that he would be joining the group.

The striker made his debut for Angola in 2021 and in the 2023 CAN qualifier against Gambia.

The Angola national team has already qualified with 12 points after four matches and the same number of wins.
