Luanda - The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, travels, Wednesday (8), to Huambo province where he will participate in the celebrations of January 8, National Culture Day, in a ceremony to be held at the Manuel Rui Monteiro Cultural Center (CCMRM).
According to the Secretary of the President of the Republic for Institutional Communication and Press Affairs, Luís Fernando, in his first mission outside the country's capital, in 2025, the Head of State inaugurates activities that will mark, until December, the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of National Independence.
At the CCMRM, there will be an eclectic display of cultural disciplines, from musical instruments to vocal performances by prestigious artists, as well as performances by comedians, among others, he said.
The event will kick off the marathon of 12 months of inaugurations, tributes, decorations, pardons, among other activities included in the program prepared by the Interministerial Commission for Commemorative Actions alluding to the 50th anniversary of National Independence. SC/DOJ
