Luanda - President João Lourenço on Thursday appointed a new Board of Directors of the National Electricity Distribution Company (ENDE), chaired by Mário Alberto Mendonça da Silva.

In a decree published on Thursday, executive directors Pedro Estevão Buca, Isequiel Sebastião Miguel, Raimundo Maurício Mavoca Santa Rosa and Lourenço José Filipe were appointed.

Nsiansoki Mayamona and Carlos de Almeida Dias Neto were appointed as non-executive directors.

In another document, the Head of State terminated the mandate of ENDE's previous Board of Directors, headed by Hélder de Jesus Garcia Adão.

The executive directors, João de Deus Pereira Furtado, Pedro Estevão Buca, Sérgio Dindanda and Isabel Augusto dos Santos, also stepped down.

Prior to the new appointments, the non-executive directors Mário Alberto Mendonça da Silva, João Simão Manuel da Silva and Nsiansoki Mayamona also stepped down.ART/TED/AMP
