Luanda - A message from the Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, was delivered this Tuesday, in Nairobi, to his Kenyan counterpart, William Ruto, the content of which was not revealed.
According to a note from the Angolan Embassy in Nairobi, the minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Mass Media, Mário Augusto da Silva Oliveira, was the bearer of the message.
Upon leaving the audience granted to him, at the Presidential Palace in Nairobi, minister Mário Oliveira said that "the meeting was fruitful” as the Kenyan statesman “continues to express interest in cooperating with Angola in several areas”.
As a result, he highlighted, President William Ruto has been following Angola's development.
The official made it known that the audience also reviewed the work that has been carried out with Kenyan institutions, with focus on Space Agency, and the new round of the Angola-Kenya Joint Commission.
He said that William Ruto took the opportunity to greet President João Lourenço and the Angolan People.
In the Kenyan capital, minister Mário Oliveira participated in the Connected Africa Summit-2024, representing President João Lourenço.
