Luanda - The National Assembly (AN) will discuss, on January 22, the organization and application of the indicative structure of salary tables and subsidies or remuneration supplements for the public service.
This information was disclosed on Wednesday by the First Secretary of the National Assembly, Manuel Dembo, at the end of the Conference of the leaders of Parliamentary Groups, chaired by the Parliament Speaker, Carolina Cerqueira.
The draft resolutions on Angola's accession to the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Protocol on Labor and Employment will also be submitted to the deputies for consideration.
During the meeting, the participants were informed about the process of revision of the Internal Regulations, which will begin this parliamentary year, with the aim of ensuring the necessary harmony with the new Organic Law for the Operation of the AN Services, as well as to correct some omissions in order to strengthen the institutional functioning of the Parliament.
The Conference reiterated the need for the deputies to continue in this new year to conduct themselves based on ethics, parliamentary decorum and respect for pluralistic and democratic coexistence. MGM/SC/DAN/AMP
