Luanda - The Agostinho Neto Foundation (FAAN) awarded on Thursday a prize to the writer Kizola Ângelo Chaniel, with a diploma of the Sacred Hope Order, as the winner of the Sacred Hope literary award.
Kizola Ângelo Chaniel also received the prize of 7.5 million kwanzas.
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Paula Coelho, congratulated the writer for the success in the contest, calling for the commitment of the youth in the affirmation of Angolan culture.
The Sacred Hope Literary Award is a promotion of the National Institute of Cultural Industries and the Dr. Antonio Agostinho Neto Foundation and aims to encourage literary creation among national authors, triggering, systematically, a new wave of discursive legitimation for the knowledge, consolidation and defense of the Angolanity.
