Luanda - National Bank of Angola (BNA) said it decided to revoke licenses for three payment service providers and an exchange office due to inactivity and repeated non-compliance with the rules governing the activity in the country, ANGOP has learnt.
In its decision made public on Monday, BNA states that the measure covers non-banking financial institutions.
They are Mundifast Transfer, Daniela Maxinde Transfer Lda and Calimina Transfer, all companies providing payment services.

Pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 3 of article 320 of the Law of the General Regime of Financial Institutions, BNA determines the dissolution of the above companies, which must be liquidated in accordance with the judicial procedures generally applicable to commercial companies, under the terms of article 146 and following of Law no. 1/04, of 13 February – Commercial Companies Law.
The “Renaro” exchange office, likewise, had its license to carry out the activity of remittance of values revoked, due to the repeated failure to report this information.
