Luanda – Angola defeated Uzberkistan 43-18 this Monday, in the qualifiers of the Women's Junior World Handball Championship, taking place in Macedonia.
After Saturday's defeat against Macedonia by 24-28, failing to at least maintain sixth place achieved in the last edition, today the African champions were classy, winning by 25 points.
Thus, the Angolan team, led by José Chuma, will play again on Tuesday against the Republic of Guinea.
To remind that in their debut, the national team lost to Iceland 19-24, and then to Denmark 21-23.
Angola also beat the United States of America by a remarkable 24-8.
